Glentoran Women won the Electric Ireland Irish Cup for the fourth season in a row at Windsor Park, Belfast on Saturday after beating Sion Swifts 2-1 in the final on Saturday. Glens captain Jess Foy opened the scoring for the favourites with a fine free kick and Northern Ireland midfielder Joely Andrews also netted for the Glens. Tara O'Connor-Farren replied late on for the Tyrone team but they could not force extra time and the trophy returned to its recent regular home in east Belfast yet again.
