A Dublin court heard arguments on whether recordings of Gerry ‘The Monk’ Hutch and former councillor Jonathan Dowdall should be accepted as evidence.

A FORMER Sinn Féin councillor has pleaded guilty to facilitating the murder of a man during a boxing weigh-in at a north Dublin hotel.

It took brutal gangland murders for Taoiseach Enda Kenny to acknowledge inequality in Dublin's north inner city, Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams has claimed.

A 55-year-old man has been killed in a gangland-style shooting in Co Meath. It is understood the man, an associate of suspected armed robber Gerry 'The Monk' Hutch, was sitting in his car when the attack happened. He is thought to have died at the scene.

THE PSNI have been consulted by gardaí as part of investigations into the gangland attack at a boxing weigh-in in Dublin, as it emerged one of the suspects is from Northern Ireland.
